Don has lived in Fondren since 1989. Born and raised in Jackson,MS Don graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Mississippi. Licensed salesperson since 1985. Founding member of the Rainbow Whole Foods Co-operative(now Rainbow Natural Grocery). Board member for 25 years, serving as treasurer, vice president and president. Current President and former President Elect of the MS Opera, former board member of Our Fondren Foundation and founding member of Fondren Renaissance Foundation. Board member of the Mid-Town Partners. Member of Fondren Civitan Club, served as vice pres. and president. Former chair of The Central Group of the Sierra Club. Married with 3 children. Don’s son, Linden, works with Nix-Tann also. Hobbies/interest include cycling(road,mountain,touring),hiking, kayaking, gardening and reading.
