Anne Myers is from Jackson. She graduated from Ole Miss with a business degree in marketing. After college she went to Paralegal school in Chicago where she lived and worked for several years. Upon returning to Jackson, she worked for the Farm Credit system. After the birth of her second child, Anne obtained her real estate sales license in 1994. It was the perfect job with 2 young children. Anne was able to learn about real estate slowly and clients were real understanding if she had one or both children in tow.
Anne has lived all over northeast Jackson and most of her business is done in northeast Jackson although she lists and sells throughout the tri-county area.
Anne knows that real estate is more than just buying and selling property. It is important to treat every client and every situation differently. I always listen to the needs of my clients and help them make the best decision based on their desires. Sometimes Buyers are not sure what it is they want so I try to educate them as best I can. If it means looking at lots of houses all over the map then that’s what we do. I get great satisfaction from Buyers telling my how much they love their new home.
When selling a home it is important to expose that home to as many potential buyers as possible. That is why, in addition to advertising, Anne holds open houses as much as possible. Many of her sales have resulted in potential buyers coming to open houses. Many times they already have a realtor but have not seen the particular home with their realtor. It might not result in both sides of a sale but the important thing is getting the home sold for the client.
One recent seller, who lived out of town while his property was on the market had this to say after closing on his property: I have bought or sold about one dozen homes in my travels and confidently say I have never worked with a better realtor! Without your constant oversight of this deal it would have simply fallen apart.
Anne is married to Tom Myers and has three children. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Jackson. She and her family attend First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
